Hi Phillip – I would like to suggest to you approaching The Huffington Post and officially blogging there. Rick Carnes and several others associated with him are blogging at HuffPo; continuously spouting the same talking points. While I don’t see a lot of attention being paid to their posts, it would be really nice to see articulate opposing viewpoints, and your reply to Carnes’ blog a few days ago was excellent, and a much needed defense of Net Neutrality. Before reading your comment, I knew about the SGA’s participation in the lobbying organization Copyright Alliance but was unaware of Arts+Labs- every time I see a post by Carnes, I think what a disingenuous corporate whore he is; presenting himself as merely standing up for the interests of the little guy, i.e. an individual song writer, when his real agenda is shilling for the RIAA and their interests… anyhow, thanks for your reply there, I would like to see more diverse viewpoints at HuffPo. —I’ve been watching that blog since it was posted, and I see there is a new reply to your comment this morning. I was going to make a snarky reply to him regarding his use of ‘goat’ when I think he means ‘goad’ – but I decided to write you instead.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, between this and Stop the Cap!, it certainly does take a lot of time. Once you get into the groove, things tend to get written and posted smoothly. You can expect lots of telecommunications stories here, consumer protection articles, and of course the biggest story of all for western New York — weather!
